What should I expect?
We understand that visiting a new church can often be an intimidating experience. When guests visit our church, we want them to be at ease! Your first visit to Cornerstone Baptist Church will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for the whole family. We want you to enjoy the revival music, Bible preaching, interactive children’s classes, helpful adult Bible classes, and a place where you can truly feel “right at home”.
What can I expect on my first visit?
Here at Cornerstone, you can expect to find a warm and inviting atmosphere, combined with a sincere desire to grow in Christ. During any one of our services, you will enjoy uplifting, traditional hymns, along with heartfelt specials by many of our members. The music is always followed by a clear, helpful, and challenging Bible message from Pastor Joey. Each of our services are approximately an hour in length. Also, during the 10:30 AM hour on Sunday mornings, there are Sunday school and Bible classes for every age group.
What type of church are you?
We are an independent, fundamental, Baptist church. For a better understanding of the spirit of our beliefs, you may want to review our doctrinal statement.
How should I dress?
There is not a dress code at CBC for our members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many in our church family dress in a more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main desire is that you would feel welcome and comfortable during your visit here.
What about my children and teens?
Our youth ministries are focused on presenting young people with the Gospel, then cultivating that in their lives through the services of our church. We believe there must be a balanced exposure of both age-specific services/activities as well as worshiping and serving with the entire church family. Cornerstone is dedicated to helping children and teens grow in Christ and develop sincere love for God and others.
When are your services?
In addition to various events each week, we have services at 10:30 AM on Sundays and 7:00 PM on Thursdays.
